Omegro acquires Trakm8 expanding Omegro’s footprint in the Fleet Management vertical in the UK

Today Omegro announced the acquisition of Trakm8, a software provider of technology solutions for fleet management, insurance telematics, optimisation and vehicle camera systems. Trakm8’s product range includes a data analytics and reporting platform (Trakm8 Insight) that delivers a full telematics solution that allows customers to capture driving incidents and reduce accident risks.
Since its founding in 2002, the company has built a reputation for designing and manufacturing proprietary hardware, establishing itself as a comprehensive ‘full stack’ solution provider. As the market evolved to include specialist hardware providers, the company shifted its focus, channelling efforts into developing innovative software solutions in Route optimisation for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and Insurance Telematics. This strategic pivot highlights the company’s adaptability and forward-looking approach in a dynamic industry.
